About the Role
The role of the Quality Coordinator is essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance in the manufacturing and delivery of windows & door products. As a key member of the operations leadership team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality procedures. You'll ensure that products meet stringent regulatory requirements, project specifications, and industry standards, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality policies for the manufacturing and delivery of aluminium windows and doors
- Conduct regular product inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Integrate quality checks within production lines and dispatch areas
- Lead quality-focused training programs for staff
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits
- Oversee and manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) system
Experience Required
- Background in quality management or manufacturing
- Experience in a made-to-order manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software
- Dynamic and resourceful approach to problem-solving
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
