About the Role

As a Production Supervisor leading the safe production of high-quality timber doors and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a specified section of the plant. This hands-on leadership role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion safety culture and compliance with WHS standards
  • Implement and maintain Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Identify and eliminate causes of quality issues and production waste
  • Manage and communicate production schedules and targets
  • Engage, lead, and mentor production teams to drive performance
  • Drive training and development of team leaders and operators
  • Monitor employee performance and implement improvement plans
  • Foster a strong customer focus with 100% on-time delivery

The Successful Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in implementing Safety, Lean & Continuous Improvement principles
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills across large operational teams
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 and quality control systems (Desirable)
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • A commitment to driving a safe, efficient, and engaged workforce
