Yard Foreman / Yardsman – Distribution Yard Based in Bendigo 7:00am – 3:00pm (flexible) | $70K–$80K | Yard leadership role We’re looking for a hands-on Yard Foreman / Yardsman to take ownership of our Bendigo distribution yard. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys running their own area, keeping operations organised, and being trusted to manage the day-to-day flow of the yard. You’ll be responsible for coordinating yard activity, equipment movements and supporting truck operations. If you like being self-sufficient, practical, and taking pride in your workspace, this is a great opportunity.

The Role • Oversee the daily operations of the Bendigo distribution yard • Coordinate loading, unloading and movement of large products • Operate forklifts and cranes to move stock and equipment • Manage yard organisation, safety and workflow • Assist with truck preparation and coordination • Maintain a clean, efficient and well-run yard Hours are typically 7:00am – 3:00pm, with some flexibility depending on operations. 5 days per week – full-time hours.

Equipment Used You’ll be operating a range of yard equipment including: • Forklifts • 20T Franna crane – specifically a Terex Franna 20t Pick and Carry Crane Experience with pick-and-carry cranes is highly regarded.

Pay & Employment • $70,000 – $80,000 per year depending on experience and suitability • Initially engaged as a casual through Compass, with the intention to transition to permanent after 6 months

Tickets & Experience Ideally you will have: • Forklift licence (essential) • C6 / Vehicle Loading Crane (VLC) licence (essential) • HR or HC licence highly regarded (ability to move trucks around the yard or drop vehicles for servicing) Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and capable of taking ownership of the yard environment.
