About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Quality Officer to support the Quality Team in maintaining the company’s high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance. This hands-on role will see you conducting daily checks across production and packaging, ensuring all quality systems, HACCP, and GMP requirements are met.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct hourly quality and food safety checks across production and packaging lines

• Monitor specifications, identify deviations, and raise non-conformance reports where required

• Perform GMP and food safety audits as per compliance schedule

• Inspect raw materials and packaging upon receipt

• Manage calibration, labelling, sample testing, and retention programs

• Educate factory staff on quality and hygiene standards

• Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with WHS policies and identify potential risks

The Successful Candidate

• 3–5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing or production environment

• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and quality management systems

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Confident using Microsoft Office and quality system software

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
