Our client is a well-established and highly respected manufacturer operating in the industrial and packaging sector. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team in Weston, NSW, supporting the ongoing maintenance and reliability of a busy manufacturing operation. • Traditional 5-day, 38-hour week, or

About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant and equipment reliability across the manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include:
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
• Repairing and servicing plant machinery
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
• Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company safety standards
• Assisting with operational requirements as needed About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Maintenance Fitter, Fitter & Turner or similar)
• Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
