Impact HR Group are partnering with this highly successful business who are seeking a highly motivated Senior Customer Service & Sales Team Leader to take charge of our front-of-house operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage a busy sales desk and front counter team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and operational efficiency.
About the Role
As the Senior Team Leader, you will be the key link between customers, the warehouse, and management. Your responsibilities include supervising staff, resolving escalated issues, monitoring sales performance, and maintaining high standards of service and compliance. You’ll also play a critical role in training and mentoring team members, driving improvements in workflow, and supporting the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and mentor front counter and sales desk staff, conduct daily briefings, and allocate workloads
· Handle escalated customer issues promptly and professionally
· Monitor daily sales performance, quotation accuracy, and team efficiency
· Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams for seamless order fulfilment
· Prepare weekly sales reports and assist management with target setting
· Maintain high customer service standards and implement best practices
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in trade or aluminium/steel salesProven leadership experience in a sales or customer service environmentStrong knowledge of aluminium profiles, cutting, and finishing processesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skillsAdvanced computer literacy and attention to detailAbility to train, motivate, and develop team membersSound numeracy for accurate quoting and margin calculations
