Customer-focused role supporting the sales team & business manager at a busy pipe manufacturer in Moss Vale. Join us in delivering top-notch service!

About the role

As a Customer Service Support Officer to the National Sales Manager, Business Managers and delivery team for a top manufacturer of customised piping systems in Mossvale you could expect to be assisting with the below responsibilities:

  • Assisting team managers by taking care of customers’ needs
  • Timely input of customer orders (phone, email)
  • Manage all inbound written and telephone customer enquiries efficiently
  • Dealing with customers by phone and assisting with general product enquiries including availability, issues if any and delivery ETAs.
  • Liaising with logistics and internal stakeholders on customer requirements.
  • Provide daily feedback to the customer base, which may contain, but is no limited to, providing POD’s, check for outstanding orders etc
  • Follow through to completion of credit claims.
  • Process and complete quotations, meeting clients supply contract terms and conditions while adhering to T&C’s.
  • Work closely with the Business Managers, offering sales, product, reporting and technical support where required.
  • Maintain and update customer file maintenance in SAGE.
  • Produce stock on hand lists.
  • Maintain and grow long lasting customer relationships through listening, understanding and engaging with customers and through delivering exceptional

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Be proficient with MS Office 
  • Prior experience with SAGE or similar ERP system
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role would be advantageous although full training will be provided.
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Have the desire to join a team that takes pride in the manufactured quality of their products
  • Be reliable, follow through with what you say you will do and contribute to the teams chemistry!
