To support growing demand, we’re seeking a hands-on and safety-conscious Production Operator with sheet metal experience to join the team in Casula.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a close-knit production team responsible for roll forming, guillotining, laminating, and assembling structural insulated panels. This is a varied and active role involving machinery operation, materials handling, and teamwork across production lines and despatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate steel and aluminium coil roll formers and guillotine lines
• Assist with spray glue, hot wire, sheet cutting, and panel pressing lines
• Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure safe operation
• Work with the despatch team, including shrink-wrapping
• Identify product damage or abnormalities to maintain quality standards
• Adhere strictly to WHS policies to minimise risks around machinery and materials
• Contribute to the ongoing reputation for quality and safety

About You

• Previous experience working with sheet metal, adhesives, and insulation materials
• High attention to detail and ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and under time pressure
• Strong awareness of safety protocols and mechanical risks
• Reliable, punctual, and organised with a positive work ethic

Requirements

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Full Australian working rights (citizenship or valid visa)
• Sheet metal experience highly regarded
