About the role

As the Extrusions Team Lead you will be coordinating and overseeing one of the shift extrusion teams in their endeavour to meet production schedules, quality and safety standards. This position requires a highly motivated and teams-oriented individual who is good at providing direction and guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup, start and troubleshoot plastic pipe extrusion lines
• Trouble shooting extrusion machines.
• Leading and coaching your team.
• Assist in the manufacturing of ACP’s pipe products
• Production process and process improvements
• Ensuring the team compliance with company quality and safety systems
• Manage staff for maximum efficiency

The ideal candidate:

• Experience with working with plastic pipe extrusion.
• Leadership (Coaching) skills and motivational abilities
• Supervisory abilities and experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication & problem-solving skills
• Forklift Licence
• First aid certificate
• Ability to setup, start and troubleshoot plastic pipe extrusion lines
