Administration Assistant

Our client is a leading Australian importer and supplier of quality fire protection products. As a result of recent changes and growth, they are currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, committed and hardworking individual to join their team with an immediate start. The opportunity will suit a candidate who is positive, organized & focused on accuracy along with possessing a high level of attention to detail.

The position:

Reporting to the National Operations and Logisitics Manager, this position will play a key role within the business. You will be responsible for processing invoices, organizing freight, customer support, reporting and general admin duties assisting in all other facets in the running of a busy business. Previous experience in administration or customer service is essential.

Responsibilities Include:

• Processing invoices
• Organising freight
• Data entry
• Customer support
• Other duties as requested

Skills Required:

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and deal with competing priorities.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Exceptional level of attention to detail.
• Liaising with team in other operational areas of the business.
• Have solid administration and computer skills.

What we are looking for:

• Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to build good working relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Experience using MYOB (preferred but not essential).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and be part of a team.
• Time management skills with a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrated previous employment history in a similar role.
• Must be punctual, reliable and a team player.
