About the role

As an SMT Team Leader or Operator, assigned to this nationally recognised air conditioning manufacturer your responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:

  • Proficiently operating Surface Mount Technology equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Manage job receipting and component picking/sorting.

  • Troubleshooting SMT machinery and escalating issues to the direct manager.

  • Perform quality checks and take necessary steps to ensure product meets standards.

  • Monitor product standards and escalate any identified issues.

  • Lead and manage afternoon shift team members.

To excel in this role, you need:

  • SMT experience (essential).

  • Pick & Place, Stencil Printer and Reflow Oven programming and process variation experience (highly regarded).

  • Proven leadership experience.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • To have the desire to join a team that takes pride in the manufactured quality of their products

  • To be reliable, follow through with what you say you will do and contribute to the teams chemistry!
